Haiku - shadows and light

nowhere to run

moths on naked bulbs
drawn to light

The first one - *shivers*

And the last one - makes me want to nap under that elm...

With all the rain we're getting I love the last one. Beautifuil!

poor field mouse - those birds of prey will always find it!

I like the peacefulness of the dappling leaves in the last one.

I was rooting for the little field mouse to find cover! All of these are really, really good.

I like the images each of these paints. With the first one, I can see the hawk stooping to take the field mouse. The other two paint more peaceful pictures, but are just as clear.

I love all these.

Being a sucker for happy endings, I'm hoping the mouse found safety in a nook of the elm. Loved your first one in particular.

Maybe if you wrote a fourth, the field mouse could be saved. But the shadow would be hungry. Hmmm.
Nice words, all along.
