Bundled

The wind blasts my heavily quilted ears-
It wants in.
A rumbling slipstream,
lashing, determined, unrelenting,
failing to penetrate my being.
I can hear it.
I can see it.
It torments and whips
the grasses at my feet.
But I can not feel it -
I just
can not
feel it.

Hey there - thanks for reading through my backlog and finding my poetry offering - came over and did you the same favour.

I loved it! I really really loved Bent Nails, The Fall (I got shivers - I have many of the genre lol), Polar Bear, this one - okay, I can just imagine them in voice. I am more a "get up and speak"er than a "flat on page"er and I love that they got up and spoke to me.

I tried to do the Poetry Thursday thing last night but couldn't get my act into gear, but will put more up - especially when I have gotten past this current poetry writers block!!!

Thanks for your comments Jeanie. I really appreciate them.
I only discovered "poetry thursday" a couple of weeks ago, but haven't been able to churn anything out for the cause, as yet.
I will look forward to reading more of your poetry though.
Thanks for stopping by.
